Standby mode is a state in which the boiler does not heat water or rooms, but remains active for safety reasons. During this time, the anti-freeze function operates, among other things, to protect the system from damage in low temperatures. The boiler starts when the water temperature drops below 8°C and heats it until it reaches 20°C to prevent freezing. Summer mode is ideal outside the heating season, when the boiler is solely responsible for preparing domestic hot water. The boiler display will only show a tap symbol. In winter mode, the device operates at full capacity, providing both home heating and access to hot water.
It's worth remembering to switch from winter to summer mode when the heating season ends. Changing the operating mode is incredibly simple and involves holding a single button on the panel. Temperature control is similarly intuitive. For heating, simply press the radiator symbol and adjust the value using the plus and minus buttons. Domestic hot water temperature control works similarly. It's also worth remembering that heating domestic hot water has priority over heating, meaning that when the tap is turned on, the boiler will focus on this task first.

It's important to note that the TERMET APLA boiler is designed so that if the device detects an irregularity, the user is informed with an appropriate message. A key or reset symbol will then appear on the control panel. At this point, the boiler automatically stops operation to prevent possible damage. In many cases, simply removing the cause and restarting the device is sufficient, but if problems persist, it's worth seeking assistance from an authorized service center.
