EXTRA POWER is a new product on the heating equipment market, designed to address the increasingly common problems with heat pump operation, for example, during winter or during unfavorable weather conditions, such as windstorms, heavy rainfall, and storms. All of this compromises the operation of not only the heat pump but also other energy sources. In such situations, the EXTRA POWER boiler can be successfully used. EXTRA POWER is a condensing boiler specifically designed to work with heat pumps. It is the ideal backup for heat pumps, especially during periods of increased heat demand. This combination ensures comfort even during the coldest winter months. Thanks to its cylinder-powered operation, it can be successfully used anywhere there is no connection to the gas grid. An additional advantage is that it can be installed at any stage of the heat pump's lifespan and, most importantly, does not require major modifications to the central heating system. EXTRA POWER differs from the familiar condensing boilers in its design – its construction has been adapted to work with heat pumps. The concept of its installation is similar to that of a flow-through heater. The boiler includes a manifold assembly that regulates the flow of heating water, allowing the boiler to be adapted to the characteristics of the heating system. Compared to typical condensing boilers, the EXTRA POWER does not have its own circulation pump or 3-way valve, as these functions are implemented within the existing installation.
The device serves as a backup to the heat pump and cannot operate as a standalone heating unit.
